The Choir of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge
David Skinner (director)

The celebrated Choir of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge with director David Skinner, present an enticing recital of sacred choral works by the Italian contemporary composer Claudio Dall'Albero.

Drawing on inspiration from earlier forms, polyphony and chant, Dall'Albero's choral works prove at once both powerful and evocative. Included in this programme of world premiere recordings are two works written specially for the Sidney Sussex Choir (Magnificat) and for this album (the solo organ suite Trittico di Cantabrigia) - the first recording of the college's new Flentrop organ.
