Alison Rose | soprano

Born in East London, Alison’s early music making began through Redbridge Music Service. She went on to study at the RNCM and Royal Academy of Music, and completed her studies in the Glasgow School of Music and Drama Opera School and the National Opera Studio. She has appeared as a principal artist with Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Garsington Festival Opera, Opera North and English National Opera, and has appeared at the Lichfield Festival, Southwell Music Festival and the Three Choirs Festival. She has worked with several contemporary composers and recently gave the premiere of a major new work by Cheryl Frances-Hoad.
